JOB TITLE: VP FINANCE
A leader in the microwave and wireless broadband industry has an opportunity available for VP finance reporting directly to CEO.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The VP is responsible for the development, integration, implementation and monitoring of plans, and is the primary financial support to the business. As such, the VP is responsible for the quality and integrity of all financial and performance planning, forecasting, analysis, and evaluation within the company. The VP provides functional direction to, and co-ordination of finance decision support and financial management activities of the Company.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Develops plans and forecasts for all revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities in support of corporate plans and targets.
2. Ensures appropriate levels of control and accountability throughout the Company within pre-established business risk parameters.
3. Establishes and maintains financial management reporting and performance measurement standards and management information systems.
4. Critically evaluates annual plans and performance reports and provides business commentary and advice to Senior Management.
5. Provides professional financial and business advice and support to all levels of functional management in the preparation and development of business cases in support of key investment, operating and business development initiatives.
6. Develops the planning and forecasting models in support of functional performance management needs.
7. Develops a team of competent financial personnel through regular succession planning and individual career development and training.
8. Fosters a work environment that is conducive to individual self-development and initiative as well as a team approach to continuous business process improvement.
9. Responsible for managing strategic purchasing department for the small volume in-house production and coordinating purchasing with contract manufacturers in China and Brazil.
10. Responsible for leading the effort for the implementation and management of ERP system.
11. Responsible for managing HR, IT and Administration departments.
