Objective of job Act as the deputy ISO to be the prime contact within Daimler China for Information security, drive & coordinate security improvement activities within the organization, undertake appropriate security improvement tasks, raise information security awareness within the organization, and provide information security support , concepts, and guidance to the organization, drawing on support from ITM Information Security where required. Implement the FCPA, SOX compliance control objective within Daimler China across the legal entity and monitor the execution and make sure there is no deviation from the designed control objective. Job designation1 Definition of conceptsWork out standardizing security concepts and methodologies for Daimler China based on Daimler security strategy. Drive IT customers towards the use of Daimler standards in order to harmonize best practices. Gather local requirements to adopt ITM global/regional security strategy for China adjustments, consider language environments, etc.2 Projects/Consulting Provide consulting and project support for IT projects, manage roll-outs of security infrastructure and systems. Provide consulting and project/task/issue management for application projects: manage landscaping, implementation and operations (stabilization and improvement). While doing that, ensure proper Daimler security guidelines to be in place. For all affiliated companies (as the Daimler strategy does not apply for Daimler minority share), create transparency on Daimler strategy.3 Compliance EnsuranceWork with compliance officer & company compliance to define the control objective for FCPA & SOX. Implement the defined control objective and periodically check the execution of compliance and collect the evidence. Drive the organization for compliance ensurance.4 StrategyPromote and manage the implementation of the IT global security & compliance strategy and policies in China fitting into the regional APAC ITI and global security & compliance strategy. Contribute requirements from Daimler China to global security & compliance initiatives and review IT security & compliance rules and guidelines to meet local needs.5 CommunicationProvide IT security & compliance related information to Daimler China. Contribute current data to local and global communication means, like Intranet or ITM communicator in collaboration with ITM/ITI /Compliance communication responsibles.6 ReportingProactively check the situation of the information security & compliance within Daimler China and report the status timely to ITM management team for continuous improvement.7 Customer Training Workout training plans for the IT security related topics. Support training lessons, identify additional information needs.Qualification required Education University Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent higher educationExperienceAt least five years of experiences in IT operations, support, and management with focus on IT security & compliance area. Knowledge about general and particular IT security & compliance methods and tools. Experiences to work in international teams and to manage project.Specific KnowledgeLanguages: English, ChineseStrong communication skills. Intercultural and social skills. Knowledge about certified processes and methods (e.g. ISO17799,ISO 27002) are preferred.
