The initial job location will be at Daimler NEA offices in Beijing, upon official establishment of the JV the position will be moved to Huairou.Objective of job? Preparing, planning, conducting and documenting of local supplier evaluation activities ? Responsible for conducting supplier evaluations ? Consulting evaluation team of cross-functional experts with multinational background? Support preparation of sourcing decisions Job designation1 Preparing and organizing of on-site supplier evaluations for DAIMLER truck joint venture2 Leading cross-functional team and be responsible for result and quality of supplier evaluation process on-site 3 Close cooperation with Procurement department along RfQ process 4 Supporting decision-making process with sourcing risk assessment 5 Provide supplier evaluation introduction and training to functional experts 6 Follow-up activities with suppliersQualification requiredEducation? Master degree in quality management, project management or comparableExperience? Minimum 3 years experience in supplier audits in the automotive industry? Extensive experience in cross-functional projects involving multinational members? Minimum 1 year leadership experienceSpecific Knowledge? Understanding and practical experience with supplier quality tools (e.g. APQP, FMEA, TS 16949 etc.)? Knowledge of automotive production technologies (iron/alu casting, forging, injection molding etc.)? Chinese and English fluently (written and spoken) ? MS Office skills essential? No travel restrictions
